Warm floors, warm heart

by Jen Ward

I recently toured a home with heated floors in the kitchen and sunroom, and it was a revelation. The ceramic tile was not only beautiful but cozy. Imagine waking up, heading to the kitchen to start the coffee, and your feet hit warm tile -- pure luxury.

Radiant heated floors aren’t just a fancy upgrade—they’re practical, especially in winter. Imagine carrying your coffee into a sunroom that already feels warm and welcoming. It’s the kind of feature that turns everyday routines into something special.

Fun fact: Heated flooring has been used around the world for centuries. In Korean homes, for example, radiant floor heating (ondol) is a traditional way to warm entire living spaces from the ground up. It makes a huge difference especially if you are sitting on the floor.

Small detail, big lifestyle upgrade. Would you love heated floors in your next home?
