Do I love the Golden Girls? Well, yes. But I'm also glad you are in my life. 

This season always gets me in a thankful mood. If you have some time this month, join me in exploring the power of gratitude and how it can positively impact your mental health. I hope it will ease some of the holiday stress and amplify the joy. 

Home tip: With leaves falling from the trees, make sure to clean out your gutters and ensure your downspouts are attached to the house. Also, remove garden hoses and winterize the hose bibs/spigots as the temperatures drop. And one more, replace your furnace filter as you warm up your home. You'll be glad you did these maintenance to-dos before the freezing weather hits!

Heading out of town to visit family during the holidays? Take a look at the list of things to do before you leave for the holidays. Last year, a client experienced significant water damage from her upstairs bathroom which resulted her in returning home early to take care of the water and damage plus the months of wrangling with insurance and contractors.
