My arms get cold, In February air

by Jen Ward

It's amazing how time flies the older you get. It feels like spring is almost here: the sun is out a little longer every day, I'm hearing more birds outside, and it was warm enough the other day that I didn't need a jacket. But this also means that spring allergies are also near. Check out the article below for some tips on how to get ahead of the spring allergy season.

While we're talking about spring, have you been dreaming of making some changes to your yard or planting a garden? If you are looking for some inspiration, make a trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show. The show takes over the convention center for a week of stunning floral exhibits, world-class plant competitions, family-friendly activities, educational offerings, and shopping. You can immerse yourself in large-scale floral and landscape creations, work side-by-side with artisans on a craft, and gather inspiration for your own garden. And while you're there, grab a bite to eat at the Reading Terminal Market or explore the town while searching for the best cheesesteak.

You may have come across the term "estate sale." This can refer to the house or property that is sold once the owner has passed. Often, estate sales sell the contents of a home. Over the years, I've helped many clients with their own specific estate sale needs. I am there to assist family members who are mourning the loss of a loved one while helping them prepare a house for sale. Preparations can range from providing sources where items can be donated to referring contractors to help remove the contents of a home. Depending on the mortgage situation, heirs may need to act quickly and could use some guidance. If you know someone who may need assistance in selling a home as part of the estate, please reach out to me.

Reminder: Daylight saving time will begin on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 2 a.m. local time, when clocks move ahead one hour.

Take care and stay healthy!
